How our pricing works
Payment fees are a percentage of each payment, in and out. Your industry and your volume set the rate, and the quote below shows both.
Your industry
Every industry sits in a low, medium or high risk tier, which sets the base rate: 0.20%, 0.40% or 0.60% of each payment. Higher-risk industries need more monitoring, and the rate reflects that.
Your volume
For every $1m you move in a currency each month, the rate for that currency drops by 0.025%, down to our lowest published rate for that currency and volume band.
Your offer
The rates you see here are indicative. Your actual rates, and the minimum fee that applies to very small payments, are set out in writing and confirmed with you before you transact.

Who can open an account?
Individuals and businesses in supported countries who apply through uQualify and for whom UQG direct is the best fit. Eligibility is confirmed during the uQualify application.
Why does my industry affect the rate?
Some industries carry more financial-crime and regulatory risk than others, and serving them well takes more monitoring and review. The three tiers keep that fair and predictable: you can see which tier you are in and what it means before you apply.
Is the quote binding?
No. It is an indicative estimate from our published rates. Your actual rates are confirmed with you in writing before you transact, after we have reviewed your application.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Payment fees, minimums, plan fees and crypto fees are all on this page, and your rates are confirmed with you before you transact. Exchange rates include our standard margin and are shown before you confirm.
How do you keep my money safe?
Accounts and payment services are provided through regulated partner financial institutions, client money is held with those institutions, and every payment goes through our security and anti-money-laundering checks. uTransact is not a bank.
