Cookie Policy
How utransact.co uses cookies and similar technologies.
This policy explains how UQG Ltd, trading as uTransact, uses cookies and similar technologies on utransact.co. It should be read with our privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser "local storage" and "session storage", let a website remember information in your browser. Some are essential for a website to work; others are used for analytics or advertising.
2. What we use
utransact.co does not set any cookies, and does not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking. Our fonts and images are hosted on our own servers, so no third party learns about your visit from them.
The only thing this website stores in your browser is strictly necessary for a feature you use:
| Name | Where | Purpose | Type and duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ut.rates.v1 | utransact.co | Keeps the last loaded indicative exchange rates so they can still be shown if the rates feed is temporarily unavailable. Contains no personal data. | Local storage, until you clear your browser data |
Applications and client sign-in happen on uqualify.co and my.uqualify.co, which are covered by the uqualify.co cookie policy.
3. Consent
Under the EU ePrivacy rules, as implemented in Cyprus, strictly necessary storage that you need to use a service you have asked for does not require consent. We do not use any other kind. If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first through a cookie banner, and update this policy.
4. How to control cookies
You can delete stored data and block cookies in your browser settings, for example in Chrome (Settings, then Privacy and security), Safari (Settings, then Privacy), Firefox (Settings, then Privacy & Security) or Edge (Settings, then Cookies and site permissions). If you block storage, the rates ticker will simply load fresh each time.
